Swimming Pool maintenance can seem like a hard task, but it is quite simple. Once you know how to clean, you will able to maintain your pool in a short time. Here are the few tips for keeping your swimming pool clean:

v  Check pool chemistry: Pool chemistry sounds very difficult and intimidating, but no worry about it. While it is an integral part of pool maintenance in El Paso, Texas and care, pool chemistry is surprisingly straight forward. You should check your swimming pool chemistry once twice in a week in summer and every week in winter. The pH should be kept between 7.2 and 7.8, lower the pH less chlorine your pool will need.
v  Clean Swimming pools filters: - The job of filtration is to remove any undissolved dirt and junk from the swimming pool water through the backwashing process. There are three types of filters in the swimming pool;
·         Sand filter: - It is less costly and easy to operate to remove dirt and junk. It should be cleaned at least every season with the filter cleaner, and you should completely change your sand filter in every five years.
·         Cartridge filter: Even though cartridge filter more costly then sand filter still some pool owners feel that cartridge filter worth extra money. Cartridge filter removes more dirt and junk or you also remove dirt when it is too dirty. You should do a deep cleaning twice in a year depending on the pool size.
·         Diatomaceous Earth (DE) Filters:- These filters are similar to sand filter and operate in much same way. It is also the most expensive than sand and cartridge filter. But they also offer the best filtration capability. You should deep clean your DE filter grids once in a season by using filter cleaner.
v  Shock Your Pool in a Right Way: Shocking your pool on a regular basis is essential to keep your swimming pool water clean and junk-free. The shocking pool is increasing the chlorine level for a little while to kill bacteria from the pool. Shocking process should be done twice thrice in a season whenever pool looks like cloudy and murky such as after a big pool party. The best way to do shock is to dilute your concentrated chlorine is by mixing it in a bucket of warm water. When you are mixing, be sure you wear protective goggles and gloves.
